Mr Scraps Saves the Day

The Miniaturist

Called in literally hours before filming was due to start, Mr Scraps started his role on ‘The Miniaturist’ with just moments to spare after the other Lurcher withdrew from the production after fracturing their shoulder whilst running on the beach! Novice Mr Scraps stars in the BBC’s latest Christmas drama due to be shown on Boxing Day. Despite the late notice and lack of experience on set, Mr Scraps managed to pull off most of what was asked of him. Well done Mr Scraps. You’re sure to go far!

Despite recent media reports about Mr Scraps having stage fright and being unable to bark when asked, the cast were  very amused when the sound of lapping water caused Mr Scraps to bark with much vigour! Not a lot of people know this, but London dogs are not encouraged to bark due to living in such close proximity to their neighbours.
