Brinkley the Golden Retriever

Marvin, home bred by me, is a working dog who either competes or works most of the year. He is a handsome boy, who is fast and stylish but with a quirky nature! He is very much a mummy's boy and prefers to be handled only by me. Marvin is trained to the whistle and is very work driven, loving to retrieve and hunt. He can take direction from a distance, jumping over things on command, stopping and taking direction. He is calm and focused with everything I do with him, never taking his eyes off me, and absolutely loves a big bear hug cuddle! Marvin has helped me demonstrate what working dogs can do at various game fairs over the past 3 years.

Hank is a working gun dog who has competed in numerous competitions over the years, and also picks up on various shoots during the winter season. He has also been used for demonstrations at country fairs etc. Hank is an extremely handsome and sociable dog, sweet natured, a real gentleman, excellent with other dogs, children and different environments. Like all our dogs, Hank is trained to the whistle and so can be directed from a distance if need be rather than having to stand right net to him. Although not as fast as he used to be he can be sent for a training object, be directed left or right, stop when moving on a whistle command, come forward, back etc. He is happy going into water, (nothing steep any more tho), fetching and holding objects, is steady at sit with lots of stimulation around him. He will happily hold many objects for a while, (toys, phone, calculator, cutlery, book, tubes, paper etc). He loves toast and marmalade and so can dribble virtually on cue!! Hank is our first gundog and taught us all we know, we love and respect him very much!
